Essential Oils

Essential oils can be powerful tools for dealing with anxiety, depression, stress and disease.  However, it is important to purchase QUALITY essential oils, and work with someone who has some training in how to use them so that they do good, and not harm.  There are several quality brands of essential oils to include Doterra, Young Living, Edens Garden, and several more.  My contact in Colorado Springs is listed below and sells DoTerra products.  While she is not a mental health expert by any means, she has agreed to watch the Karen Purvis introductory video, and therefore has some basic awareness of trauma and essential oils for depressions etc.   She will be able to teach you how to use essential oils.  You can contact her with the following:

Brenna Gregg* of Doterra

719-964-3330

http://mydoterra.com/brennagregg

brennaincolorado@yahoo.com

*I do not gain any benefit financially or otherwise from connecting you to Brenna.  She is simply my local contact in COS and can guide you through the basics of essential oils.

Dr. Axe has a helpful downloadable book regarding the use of essential oils.  His focus is more on their medicinal uses but also provides insights for use with a few basic emotional struggles such as anxiety and depression:

Sexual Addiction

INTENSIVE sexual addiction counseling for men
Faithful & True

This organization provide intensives for people who want to get a good start to their recovery.  They specialize in teaching new life skills to change behavior but also (and very importantly) get at the core issues that started the problem.  An intensive may be a bit of money on the front end, but is very helpful to "get the ball rolling".  Also, getting out of town can help provide focus during the initial phase of treatment.  I am well aware of the founder of this organization and know him to be highly skilled.
