Schedule An Appointment......

New Clients.....

1.  Please contact the office to at 719-477-0550 to ensure that your particular areas of concern can be addressed and that your insurance will cover your services.  A form is included in the intake packet to help you get the answers you need.

2.  After making the call, if we agree that I may be able to help you, turn to the "Forms" section of this website to print the required forms for your intake session. 

3.  Finally, click the "Schedule Online" button below to register as a new patient or client.  Once the Therapy Appointment scheduler opens in a new screen, look to the top left box to "Register as a new....".

WRITE DOWN THE LOGIN ID AND PASSWORD AS YOU WILL USE IT IN THE FUTURE!

 

After your information is completely data entered (usually the Friday after your appointment), you will be able to schedule with the online scheduler. 

 

Returning Clients....

You may call the main number 719-477-0550 and leave a message with some dates and times that will work for you.  I will call you back to schedule a date and time.

You may use the online scheduler below:

 

If you are returning after an extended absense, you may need to call the office to schedule, as your login ID may not be active.

Cancellations....

 

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, you are welcome to do so via the client portal.  You may also call the main number at 477-0550 and leave a detailed message.  A reminder that Family Ties requires a 24-hour notice for cancellations.  Late cancellations and no-shows may result in an $90.00 fee.  Oops, forgot your appointment?  See the note below for details on what to do. 

New clients that no-show for their first appointment will not be contacted.  If you do not contact us, we will assume you no longer require services and offer your appointment slot to another person. 

In Case of Illness....

We want you to be well, so please take care of yourself.  If you are ill, please call as soon as possible to cancel your appointment.  You are welcome to call back to reschedule as soon as you are well.  There is no charge for canceling when you are sick. If you are sick on a regular basis, we may ask you to take empty slots only during the week when you know you are able to attend. 

Oops......forgot?....

There are those, "I didn't get my coffee" days when we forget things.  If you forgot your appointment, we understand.  We all make mistakes.  It is your responsibility to make a phone call to reschedule.  Also, know that any recurring appointments will also be deleted unless we hear from you, and a no-show fee may apply. 

In Case of Snow.......

In the case that Family Ties Counseling, Inc. will close due to snow, we will leave a detailed "closed office" message on the answering machine as soon as the decision is made  If there is no message, you have either called very early, or we will be open.  Please make every effort to make your appointment unless your safety is a concern.

Because telehealth is now available, your session will likely be able to be held online.  Please leave a voicemail about your intentions and we will send a link to your email that you can use for your appointment.
